I just would like to take this opportunity to place on record my thanks and appreciation for your efforts and professional skills in bringing our project to fruition. Your commitment and client-centric approach to the whole project including all aspects of design has been a revelation.

We truly believe that your involvement in our project will be immeasurable when looking at the final results. You have made a somewhat difficult process so much easier. Your dedication and level of commitment never waived. In my humble opinion you should be appointed before a client appoints the potential architect.

Your attention to detail and having the ability to interpret my brief as well guiding me when needed is greatly appreciated and has immeasurably contributed to the success of our project.

You are an asset to any prospective developer and client and your passion, honesty and sincerity are not easily come by. You have the capacity to design and manage a project that would be extremely confusing to any person out there.

I only wish you the very best in your career and know that you will reach the highest mountains, not just because of who you are as a person but, because you love what you do, you are honest, determined, and I can honestly say….. I ALWAYS CAME FIRST. You really know how to make a client comfortable in an overwhelming situation. Your passion for what you do shows in your results.

Wishing you the very best as you deserve nothing less.

Carla Swart

At first, I wanted to do everything on my own with regards to building my own house. Just me and the builder. But then I realized all my own shortcomings (time, no sense of creativity, colours, plugs, etc!!!) and that’s when I got hold of Carla – and I’ve never looked back.

She is very professional in her approach to her work…she’s got a 5 step plan on how she is presenting herself and the work she is going to do for you…so I know exactly where we are in the process of designs for my house. She understand plans and square meters, floor space, height that for me as a first time builder had no idea of what and where.

Although it is my house, she is giving me great ideas as to how and where things must be, what colours, etc. She helped to choose all of my interior stuff likes tiles, bathroom fittings, plugs, electrical fittings. She has a vast knowledge of finishes as she knows what is happening and trending in the market.

She listens to what I as a customer wants and she then presents it in designs for me to see and make the best choice.

My wife and I were introduced to Carla as the interior architect who would be assisting on the building of our property at 1341 Val de Vie.
To our surprise, not only did Carla turn out to be the most professional and brilliant interior architect but she also turned out to be an amazing interior designer and overall project manager.

I cannot emphasize this factor enough. Carla assisted us across all aspects of the building process and removed significant stress from our lives during the project.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her to any future client and anyone wanting a more in depth appraisal is welcome to contact me.

Building a house, we realised was not an easy feat, it took months of careful planning to design our dream home. With Carla’s excellent professional help as interior architect it would have been a difficult process, but she made it so much easier and a really fun project. She carefully directed us in a very professional manner in choosing the right colours, textures and design to style and built a beautiful house.

Nothing was too much trouble for her and we could rely on her good taste and design fully. I would really recommend the services of Carla of Salt Interiors.

Carla managed to conceptualise our vision for our boardroom and reception area perfectly, and then succeeded in executing on her design to produce an extremely pleasing end-product.

She is an astute professional!
